Summary IMF mission expresses satisfaction over Pakistan’s current economic development.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - International Monetary Fund would release second tranche of about $550million to Pakistan till the end of December this year.
According to the statement of the IMF mission, it has expressed satisfaction over Pakistan’s current economic development and progress.
The statement said Pakistan and IMF (IMF mission led by Jeffery Franks) have successfully concluded the first review under the 3-year EFF program for an amount of $6.6 billion.
This will enable IMF to go to their board for the release of second tranche of about $550million.
The IMF Mission lauded the steps taken by government of Pakistan, said that it is good omen that Pakistan is taking measures in terms of Regulatory Framework and administrative.
The mission hoped it would have positive and result oriented impact on Pakistan’s economy.
