KARACHI (Dunya News) - A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the Governor House here on Friday and apprised him about Muttahida’s reservation regarding on-going operation in Karachi.

The delegation consisted of Deputy Convener of MQM, Dr Khalid Maqbool, Dr Saghir Ahmed, MQM’s Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly, Dr Muhammad Farooq Sattar, MQM’s Parliamentary Leader in the Senate, Babar Ghauri and Adil Siddiqui. Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, was overall coordinating the meeting as a host.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired the meeting. He was assisted by Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. The discussion mainly was on the law and order as well as development.

It was pointed out that all would have to move along together for the improvement of the law and order.

The Prime Minister said that the federal government would render all out support towards the development in Karachi and other parts of the province of Sindh.

The MQM delegation endorsed the views of the Prime Minister to this effect.
