South Waziristan:Drone strike claims 20 lives in Shaktoi

At least 20 people were killed when a US drone hit a suspected militants hideout in Shaktoi, South Waziristan on Sunday.According to sources, the US drone fired three missiles at a house in Shaktoi, killing 20 people.Rise in toll is also feared, sources added.Many drone strikes have been carried out in the abovementioned area in the last few days. Drones are attacking Pakistans sovereignty:FazalMeanwhile, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman has termed the drone strikes as attack on Pakistans sovereignty, Dunya News reported on Sunday.Talking to media in Lahore, Fazal said that Musharraf took the decision to be part of war on terror on his own, adding that no institution backed him.Fazal said that Pakistan needed internal stability, urging all the political parties to be united to boost democracy in the country. Pakistan is not an ally in global war on terror. We are just tools for furthering the agendas of international powers, Fazal deplored.
