Nowshera: Refugees protest police raid at camp

Several cops got injured when infuriated Afghan refugees hurled stones at them against arrest of some of their compatriots from the refugee camp in Nowshera on Sunday.Afghan refugees got angry when the police raided one of their camps to arrest some Afghans. The annoyed protestors hurled stones at the police injuring several of them besides harming the police van.DSP Akhtar Ali and SHO Eza Khel started negotiations with the refugees in wake of the protest. However, on account of talks failure, police contingents have been called while operation is also likely.
