Dr. Aafias lawyer will defend her against charges

The lawyer of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, has promised to defend her against allegations, terming the charges as false and baseless.The counsel of Dr. Aafia held a press conference here along with the presence of Pakistan envoy to United States Hussain Haqqani. He said nothing can be predicted regarding would-be verdict of her case considering the complicatedness of the issue and suggested that the judicial personnel involved in case should visit Ghazni , an Afghanistan city, in order for fair hearing of her case but however, she was not ready for her judicial prosecution. The allegation, of assaulting US troops in Afghanistan with M4 rifle, levied upon her, was totally based on falsehood and I will defend her against it at all cost, Haqqani added.
