Pakistani forces retaliate to Indian firing in Sialkot sector

Pakistan and India had declared a ceasefire in 2003.

SIALKOT (Dunya News) - Violation of the ceasefire agreement at the Line of Control (LoC) from the Indian side continues as Indian troops once again indulged in unprovoked shelling and firing in the Bajwat Sector of Sialkot, while Pakistani troops retaliating to silence the Indian guns.

According to sources, Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing at all the checkposts including Narowal and Patoli checkpost. Pakistani armed forces responded in a befitting manner which ultimately silenced the enemy s guns.

One villager was martyred and two wounded at Umrawali in Indian firing and shelling during the last five days, sources said.

Pakistan and India had declared a ceasefire in 2003. However, Indian troops’ violation of the ceasefire has become a routine now causing great tension at the LoC.
