ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that his Government is fully cognizant of its constitutional obligations regarding appointment of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and he will take every decision in the supreme interests of the country.
During a meeting on the appointment of new Chairman‚ he said expectations regarding announcement of successor to outgoing Chairman before 8th October and retirement of Army Chief on 29th November are reasonably important issues but need comprehensive considerations.
He said it has been decided to announce the names for both the appointments at the same time.
