Target killings: National Crisis Management Team meeting ends

Meeting of newly-established National Crisis Management Team to stop the ongoing wave of target killings in Karachi under the supervision of Additional Secretary Interior in Karachi Sindh Secretariat Asif Nawaz has ended. MQM and ANP leaders and families of the victims recorded their viewpoints. MQMs local leadership under the supervision of Faisal Sabazwari along with 40 family members of victims recorded their statements. ANP provided the list of their leaders who were killed in recent target killing incidents. Affectees would record their statements tomorrow. No leaders or affectees of PPPs were presented before the committee. Intelligence officials, Sindh Rangers and special branch officials were also present in the meeting. MQMs Faisal Sabazwari said that arms supply to Karachi should be stopped.
