Interior Ministry of Sindh has sent a summary to Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah regarding giving authorities to rangers.The letter dispatched to CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah consists of the recommendation of amending the army act 1952-A. If this recommendation is accepted, then Rangers Police will have the authority to carry out raids, search operations, keeping any person under custody for 90 days, filing a case against the criminal and to present in front of the court. According to the sources CM Sindh will forward the recommendations of Interior Ministry Sindh to Prime Minister of Pakistan, which will be presented in the national assembly for the approval. Once these recommendations are signed by the President, they will be then legalised.
