Summary Says PM will announce a special package for relief and rehabilitation of the quake victims.
AWARAN (Web Desk) - Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif announced that Punjab government would provide jobs to all graduates from Awaran.
Talking to the media during his visit to affected areas in Awaran district along with Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Shahbaz said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will soon announce a special package for relief and rehabilitation of the quake-hit people. He said the package would take care of immediate and long term needs of the quake affected areas.
The Chief Minister said Punjab has donated fifteen thousand tents and a C-130 load of food and other relief items for the affected people.
Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik said he would personally visit all affected areas and asked media to pinpoint if someone remains unattended during relief and rehabilitation process.
Speaking on the occasion‚ Chaudhry Nisar Khan said the Prime Minister has declared that there would be no shortage of funds for relief and rehabilitation activities.
He said the collapsed houses will be reconstructed on priority basis.
