Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee has requested Army, Rangers and intelligence agencies to intervene for establishment of peace in Karachi, reported Dunya News on Friday.According to a statement issued from MQMs head office Nine Zero, the committee stated that several people were killed in Lyari gang war on Thursday January 7, 2010. On the next day (January 8), criminals of Lyari first abducted innocent members of MQM and then ruthlessly killed them. The committee repeatedly informed the federal and provincial government about ongoing target killing incidents in Karachi but neither any murderer been apprehended nor any positive action has been taken to date. The coordination committee requested the army, rangers, intelligence agencies officials and impartial officers of police to intervene for protection of life and property of innocent people and establishment of peace in Karachi.
