Summary Secretary ECP says the meeting will be held in the last week of the current month.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Secretary of Election Commission of Pakistan Ishtiak Ahmad Khan has said that the commission has decided to hold a meeting of all the four provinces on holding of Local Government elections.
As per media reports, the Secretary said the meeting will be held in the last week of the current month. He said there should be similarity in laws for Local Bodies system of all the provinces. He said that such a similarity will be helpful for holding the elections.
The Secretary said holding of local bodies elections on party basis in one province may create complications.
