Summary Altaf Hussain accused the Sindh government of conducting one-sided action against the MQM workers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday condemned the arrest of party’s former MPA Nadeem Hidayat Hashmi.
Altaf asked the Sindh government to explain the clauses of the law under which the former member of provincial assembly was arrested.
He accused the provincial government of conducting one-sided action against the MQM workers.
Altaf Hussain also advised the party workers to remain calm.
Nadeem Hashmi was arrested late on Tuesday from his residence in North Nazimabad over suspected involvement in the murders of two policemen.
He was shifted to the Pirabad police station.
