Awami National Party chief Asfand Yar Wali has said that Swat peace accord was forcefully inked, saying that two suicide bombers were standing behind Mian Iftikhar and Afrasiab Khattak on that occasion.During a press conference on Saturday, Wali said that NWFP government has been successful in maintaining writ of state in the province; however, the suicide attacks could not be checked.He hoped that Chief of Army Staff Gen Kayani would not derail democracy in the country, adding that he respected Supreme Courts ruling on NRO. He noted that progress is impossible sans strong institutions, adding that nothing would go wrong if the institutions work in their constitutional limits.He hailed the role played by NWFP government in reaching a unanimous NFC award.
