KARACHI (Dunya News) – Addressing the Assembly Session on Wednesday, Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Maalik Baloch said that residents of ten districts of the province were migrating from their hometowns while 70,000 children have been forced to abandon their schools due to unrest in the province.
“For how long killings of our children would continue,” Maalik said.
He said that he could not tackle the issue single handedly and a joint strategy devised by all political parties was need of the time.
He said that Balochistan government was giving Rs 30 million compensation on daily basis from its budget.
The situation cannot be controlled until Balochistan had its own force, Dr Maalik said.
The CM Balochistan said that his government could not provide even the two times bread to its people without proper attention of the federal government on the economy of the province and provision of at least 1500 megawatts of electricity.
