Summary Dr Afia will be back home soon after extradition treaty is signed between Pakistan and US.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Wednesday said that date for All Parties Conference on national security will be announced soon.
In a statement, the minister hoped that after extradition treaty is signed between Pakistan and United States‚ Dr Afia Siddiqui will be back home very soon.
To a question‚ he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed the interior ministry to present a detailed report on law and order situation in Karachi before the cabinet so that federal government can effectively assist provincial government to improve the situation.
Pervaiz Rashid said the interior minister has also done a lot of homework on the issue of terrorism in the country and he is in contact with all political parties.
He said the cabinet also gave go ahead to various other agreements including economic and sports cooperation with different countries.
