The citizens of Karachi mourned and grief engulfed the whole Sindh province even after 24 hours of Karachi Ashura blast as the death toll hit 45. The exams of universities and intermediate board of the city scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday has been postponed, reports Dunya News on Tuesday.Sadness surrounded Karachi with empty roads, business centers closed and lack of transport. The rescue workers have failed to overcome the fire in business centers and shops burnt by miscreants after suicide blast in Central Mourning Procession on M.A. Jinnah Road yesterday. More than 5000 shops have been completely burnt including 150 in Landa Bazaar, 75 in Denso Hall market, 70 in Quetta market, 5 in Paper market, more than 3000 in Bolton market and its surrounding areas. The warehouses established on top floors of business centers were also affected badly.According to notifications issued by educational institutions, all the exams scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday have been postponed. New dates will be announced soon.
