Seven people including four policemen have been killed while several others sustained injuries in blasts in Karachi and Muzaffarabad on Sunday. In Muzaffarabad, seven people including four policemen have been killed while 85 sustained injuries in a suicide blast at CMH road while firing was heard after the blast. A suicide bomber wanted to enter into the Imambargah. Police official stopped him for checking where the suicide attacker blew himself up. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has telephoned PM Azad Kashmir and condemned the blast. He also announced Rs 5 lakh each for the families of the blast victims. In Karachi, the blast was occurred in Qasba colony just before the passing of Muharram processions from the area. At least 23 people including Rangers and Police officials have been injured. Relief activities have been started. The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals where emergency was declared after the blast. Police and Rangers have reached the spot and cordoned off the area. According to police sources, the blast was done with a remote control device. Angry people set a car ablaze and threw stones on other vehicles after the incident. They battered reporters and confiscated their cameras.
