9th Muharram processions being taken out, Majalis held across country

The mourning processions are being taken out, while Majalis Aza would be held across the country in connection with 9th Muharramul Harram, Dunya News reported on Sunday.As many as 365 Majalis Aza would be held, while some 75 Zuljinah processions would be taken out across Lahore. In Lahore, the central procession of 9th Muharram would be emerged from Nisar Haveli and would be climaxed at Karbala Gamay Shah tomorrow on 10th of Muharram. In Karachi, Zuljinah processions were taken out from Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, Nazim Abad and Abbas Town, while the main procession would be emerged from Nishtar Park where Majlis has been started in Nishtar Park and Maulana Sakhi Shah is addressing Azadars.In Peshawar, the central procession would be taken out from Imambargah Hussainia Hall where the Azadars carried out flagellation to pay tribute to Shaheed-e-Karbala. Security has been tightened around the country; walkthrough gates and closed circuit cameras have also been installed en route Zuljinah procession and Majalis venues.
