Khurshid Shah lashes out at PML-N over alliance with MQM
PPP Leader lashed out at the PML-N for seeking MQM’s support for its presidential candidate.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talking to Dunya News, leader of opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah said that members of Pakistan People’s Party would not attend sessions of the provincial assemblies and the parliament on the day of presidential election.
He said that his party will explain the reason for decision to boycott the presidential election on July 29 during the assembly session.
Lashing out at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the opposition leader said that he had used to call MQM a terrorist party but today have joined hands with them.
Meanwhile, PML-N senator Jafar Iqbal has said that the country is passing through a critical time of its history and the prime minister wanted to be in touch with all the political parties for the presidential election.
He said that alliance with MQM was for the promotion of political culture in the country. He said that PML-N needed votes in the presidential election that is why it entered an alliance with MQM.
