ISLAMABAD (Online) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) has announced to support Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate in the presidential election going to be held on July 30.
According to media reports, the decision was taken in the meeting of PML-N’s delegation with the members of MQM coordination committee at MQM’s headquarters Nine Zero here on Friday.
Delegation of PML-N consisted upon Ishaq Dar, Pervez Rasheed and Mamnoon Hussain visited Nine Zero to garner the support of MQM for PML-N’s candidate Mamnoon Hussain for presidential elections.
In turn, PML-N invited MQM to join the federal government in the centre.
The MQM leaders and workers warmly welcomed the delegation and showered roses on the delegation at reaching MQM’s headquarters.
Meanwhile, during his telephonic address on the occasion, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that he considers Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif as his brothers.
He said that all differences between PML-N and MQM have been resolved now and both the parties will jointly work for the uplift and progress of the country.
Earlier, the delegation of PML-N also held meeting with the Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad.
