ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - It rained again in federal capital and other cities in Punjab and upper parts of the country on Saturday, keeping the temperatures down.
Among the rain-hit cities, Islamabad received the heaviest downpour with a record of 200 millimeters of rain so far.
The Met office said the monsoon system generating rain will continue for the next 24 hours across the country.
Lahore also received rain in the morning. The Met office recorded 3mm of rain at the airport. The city s maximum temperatures were 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum 25 degrees Celsius with 84 per cent of humidity in the morning.
According to Meteorological Office‚ Sialkot received 103 mm rain‚ Gujranwala 33 mm‚ Jhelum 17 mm‚ and Balakot and Gari Dupata 15 millimeter.
It also said that rain with thundershower was expected at isolated places in southeast Sindh, northeast Punjab, Islamabad, Hazara, Kohat and Makran divisions and Azad Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
