Muhammad Sarwar became first Muslim member of British parliament elected from Glasgow. He was elected member of British parliament thrice.
Hailing from Toba Tek Singh, Muhammad Sarwar shifted to Britain in 60s. He is considered close associate of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
