Summary Two accused involved in attack on Justice Maqbool Baqar were produced before media on Thursday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Both the accused were presented before media at the office of SSP South. Replying to newsmen questions, accused Moavia Leghari revealed that the motorcycle used in attack on Justice Maqbool Baqar was prepared at the house of Bashir Leghari.
He informed that their mobile phones were used to be taken away before the planning meetings for attack. He further said that Asif Chotu used to be present in these meetings.
He informed that the remote control button in attack on Justice Baqar was pressed by accused Abu Bakar.
While talking to media, accused Abu Bakar informed that the explosive material used in the attack was provided by Bashir Legari which was packed in shoe boxes.
He further said that Bashir Leghari was present at the sight of the attack while Asif Chotu monitored the whole exercise.
He further said that the task to attack Justice Baqar was given to some other group but members of that group were arrested by police and they were selected for this job.
Abu Bakar also admitted killing of Advocat Kosar Saqlain and his two sons.
While talking on the occasion, DIG South Amir Sheikh said that Bashir Leghari was the mastermind in attack on Justice Baqar. He also revealed that the arrested accused were also given the task to target MQM leader Haider Abbas.
