A Rawalpindi Accountability Court has summoned Interior Minister Rehman Malik in NAB cases on January 2nd.Maliks counsel argued before the court that Rehman was acquitted in two NAB cases; however, after striking down NRO, Supreme Court ordered reopening of the NAB cases on December 16. The Accountability Court has summoned the Interior Minister in person and also sought his bail records. While talking to the reporters after the court hearing, Advocate Amjad Iqbal said that all the cases against Rehman Malik are baseless, adding that the Interior Minister would appear before the court.
