ISLAMBAD (Dunya News) - Action president Nayyar Hussain Bokhari has approved termination of Admiral (r) Fasih Bokhari as NAB Chairman with effect from the date of Judgment of Supreme Court.
The apex court in judgment of constitution petition No. 73 of 2011 had sought removal of Bokhari from the office of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman.
In the light of the decision of the Supreme Court, Ministry of Law and Justice proposed to the prime minister to advise the president to terminate the said appointment from the date when the judgment was passed by the court.
