Administration of Federal Minister Manzoor Wattoos CNG station in Haveli Lakha manhandled the SNGPL staff and forced them to leave without suspending supply of gas following refusal to abide by SNGPL directions of gas load-shedding, reported Dunya News on Sunday.Gas supply at Tameer-e-Watan CNG station located two kilometers from Haveli Lakha, owned by Federal Minister Manzoor Wattoo, continued despite Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) directions to keep the station shut during load-shedding. When the SNGPL staff arrived at the station to suspend the gas connection, the administration of the CNG station manhandled them and warned of dire consequences. According to SNGPL officials, notices have been issued that gas supply to CNG stations in Lahore region including Okara district will remain suspended on Sunday and Monday. After the closure of two days, CNG station will start functioning on Tuesday morning at 6:00am. But Federal Minister Manzoor Wattoos CNG station in Haveli Lakha continued supplying CNG violating the rule.GM SNGPL Lahore said sale of GNG is banned during load-shedding and strict actions would be taken on noncompliance while gas supply will not be resumed for 10 days and violator can also be fined.
