President Asif Ali Zardaris spokesman Farhatullah Babar said on Wednesday that there is absolutely no chance of Presidents resignation as no cases could be opened against him till he is in Presidency under article 248 of the constitution.Talking to media after Supreme Courts larger bench declared NRO as null and void, Farhatullah Babar said Pakistan Peoples Party will make a formal announcement after consultation and detailed verdict. He said all the cases against PPPs Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari were filed twelve years ago and he has not been convicted in any case, so there is no need for him to resign from his office. Babar said PPP and President fully respect the verdict of the superior court. He said PPP leaders dont fear challenges; they have always faced them and will continue to do so.
