PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Deputy Commandant Frontier Corps Colonel Wasim Zafar Bhatti said about 75 militants were killed in 34 days operation.
In a briefing Saturday Deputy Commandant FC told that some terrorists had entered the Para Chamkani area on May 7 and set ablaze many homes the other day.
Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
Waseem informed that 75 militants, including an Uzbek national, were killed during the operation.
According to him, 21 security personnel also lost their lives and 86 others were injured in the operation.
Militants have been flushed out and rehabilitation of displaced persons started from the agency, he said.
He said 21 troops embraced martyrdom while 86 received injuries.
