Summary Fuel adjustment price would be charged in the bills from August to November 2012.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A division bench of Islamabad High Court on Thursday declared fuel adjustment price in the electricity bills as legal.
Earlier, Justice Shaukat Siddiqui of the Islamabad High Court had barred power distribution companies from collecting additional amount under the fuel adjustment plan. Later, the distribution companies filed an intra-court appeal to reverse the decision.
Today, the bench comprising Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan and Justice Anwardul Haq termed collection of fuel adjustment price as justified.
The fuel adjustment which has now been legalized would be charged in the bills from August to November 2012.
