Summary Says Pervez Musharraf had failed to provide foolproof security to slain Benazir Bhutto.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):- Former interior minister Rehaman Malik has held former military dictator general (rtd) Pervez Musharraf responsible for assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
Dunya News has achieved the copy of interim challan submitted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the court.
The interim challan submitted in the court is comprised of 76 pages according to which Baitullah Mehsood, Abaidur Rehman, Abdullah, Faiz Muhammad, Ikramullah, Nasrullah and Nadir has been determined declared offenders while Aitzaz Shah, Shair Zaman, Hasnain Gul, Muhammad Rafaqat and Rashird Ahmad are on judicial remand.
According to chalan, accused Pervez Musharraf, former SP Khurram Shehzad and ex-CPO Saud Aziz are on bail.
Federal interior minister Rehman Malik also has stated that former president Pervez Musharraf’s government had failed to provide foolproof security the slain Benazir Bhutto due to which tragic incident of Liaqat Bagh took place.
Former secretary interior Kamal Shah also recorded his statement of 161 and held Pervez Musharraf responsible for not providing proper security to the former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
While throwing light on the character of Pervez Musharraf as a president, chalan termed him as breaker of the constitution.
The chalan also made it clear that Pervez Musharraf declared state of emergency on November 3, 2007 and detained judges and their families while setting aside all rules and regulations.
