Killer of PTI MPA held in Islamabad, confesses 36 murders
It has been revealed that both are members of a local militant network of TTP based in Hangu.
ISLAMABAD (Online/Dunya News) - Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad police have arrested a suspected terrorist involved in killing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Farid Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to details, CIA was informed that two terrorists were residing in Tarnol area after changing their actual identity; both hail from Hangu and could be arrested from Afghan slum area of Sabzi Mandi locality.
After monitoring, CIA police team raided at their hideout and arrested them who were later identified as Asif Ullah s/o Abdullah and Abid Khan s/o Akhtar Badshah.
During preliminary investigation, the criminals confessed their involvement in the murder of Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), Fareed Khan.
It has been revealed that both are members of a local militant network based in Hangu.
They disclosed to commit this murder on the directions of Nabi Mullah Hanfi, commander of a local militant outfit at Hangu who developed differences with MPA Fareed Khan because of deceased stance against militancy.
They told that they were informed about the movement of MPA Fareed Khan on the day of incident (June 3) by a local militant commander after which they ambushed and killed him on Sanghar road, Hangu.
They confessed to slaughter 36 persons and had criminal record due to their involvement in cases of terrorism, murder and attempt to murder.
They confessed to kill Sameen Afzal, Saim Shah, Khalid Hyat, Mst Roshnai, Jehanzeb, Sarat Gul, Khalid Hyat, Nauger Shah, Usman Khan, Muhammad Jalil, Abdul Hadi, Lal Marjan, Muhammad Tariq, Ameer Ahmed, Muhammad Rasheed and Kamal Uddin.
Muhammad Faisal, Habib Ullah, Rasool Jan, Qabil Khan, Haji Muhammadi Gul, Ziabat Khan, Gul Hussain, Qasim, Muhammad Wahab, Muhammad Kamal, Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Ayub, Siraj Bibi, Nazia Bibi, Muhammad Alam, Muhammad Saleem, Shamas ul Akbar, Falak Khan, Fazal Hameed and Khalid Nawaz also fell prey to their barbarity.
