Lahore: Fire at PIC brought under control
The fire which broke out at the PIC on early Thursday morning has been brought under control.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to details, fire broke at the Angiography Ward of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) due to short circuit as a result smoke accumulated in the ward.
At least 50 patients were in the ward when fire broke out who were immediately shifted to others parts of the hospital.
Firefighters and rescue teams brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of one hour. The hospital administration has shifted the patients to Emergency Ward.
