Munir A Malik becomes Attorney General of Pakistan
Munir A Malik has replaced Irfan Qadir as Attorney General of Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday appointed Munir A Malik as Attorney General of Pakistan.
The notification of Malik’s appointment has also been issued by the Presidency.
Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had sent a summary to the President to appoint Munir A Malik as Attorney General of Pakistan.
Munir A Malik is an eminent lawyer and is held in high esteem in the country s legal fraternity.
He has remained president of Supreme Court Bar Association and played a leading role during the judges restoration movement.
