Summary Justice Tasaddaq Hussain says tribunals have been directed to dispose of all cases within 120 days.
QUETTA (Dunya News):-Acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Tasaddaq Hussain Jilani has said that current general elections were fair and transparent and this time; turnout in Balochistan was graceful as compared to previous tenures.
He is on one-day visit to Quetta where talking to the media at airport, Justice Tasaddaq said that he has received complaints from different corners of the country. That is why the number of judicial tribunals has been multiplied, with the direction that all the cases should be disposed of within 120 days, said the justice.
He said that approximately 90 percent polling was fair and transparent but unluckily some negative-minded sections of the society committed rigging, making the transparency of the elections doubtful.
Acting Chief Election Commissioner would also meet the Balochistan High Court judges including Provincial Election Commission staff and tribunal judges.
