Summary Balochistan Election Commission has announced result of BP-35 and declared Akhtar Mengal winner.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - According to Election Commission, Balochistan National Party-Mengal chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal was elected to the Balochistan Assembly from PB-35 Wadh, Khuzdar after securing 16,828 votes.
His opponent independent candidate Atta-ur-Rehman received 7, 830 votes.
According to Balochistan EC, the reason behind the delay in announcement of result was security, and threats from the opponents.
