KARACHI (Online) - Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian has nominated Syed Qaim Ali Shah as the new Chief Minister of Sindh.
President, PPPP, Makhdoom Amin Faheem announced the name of Syed Qaim Ali Shah for the slot of Chief Minister Sindh during the PPP’s parliamentary meeting here on Tuesday.
The PPPP parliamentary Committee also decided the name for Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Sindh Assembly namely Agha Siraj Durani and Shehla Raza respectively.
In the first phase, the cabinet would be comprised of five Ministers namely Manzoor Wasan, Sharjeel Memon, Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani, Nisar Khoro and Dr. Sikandar Mandro.
Moreover, Nisar Khoro has aslo been nominated as Parliamentary Leader of the house.
It is pertinent to mention to here that this is third time that Syed Qaim Ali Shah is going to be the Chief Minster of Sindh.
Qaim Ali Shah apart from being elected as an MPA several times has also been an MNA and a senator.
Qaim Ali Shah, who belongs to district Khairpur, has been a PPP loyalist since the party’s inception and, apart from being elected as an MPA several times, has also been an MNA and a senator.
He has also served as federal minister for industries and Kashmir Affairs in Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s cabinet in the 1970s.
