Nawaz urges Chinese PM to help resolve energy issue

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with visiting Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang in Islamabad on Thursday morning.

 

During meeting, Nawaz Sharif requested the Chinese premier to help Pakistan in acquiring Civil Nuclear Technology to resolve ongoing energy crisis.

 

PML-N leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif‚ Chaurdy Nisar Ali Khan and Senator Ishaq Dar were also present in the meeting.

 

Both the leaders held in-depth discussion on the ways to further strengthen existing bilateral and strategic relations in various fields.

 

The Chinese Prime Minister congratulated Mian Nawaz Sharif on the success of his party in the general elections and hoped it will help further strengthen democracy in the country.

 

He also invited Nawaz Sharif to visit China.

 

Earlier today‚ services chiefs including chairman joint Chiefs of Committee also called on the Chinese Prime Minister and discussed various matters relating to Defence cooperation between the two countries.
