Summary Police surrounded bank but 3 robbers managed to escape while fourth was killed in exchange of fire.
CHINIOT (Dunya News) According to details four robbers broke into a private bank in Lalian at Sargodha-Faisalabad Road, and held six people including bank staff hostage.
Police rushed to the scene as nearby shop owners informed them about the robbery.
Three robbers managed to escape from the spot while the fourth dacoit inside the bank locked the door.
After warning of surrender, the dacoit opened firing at police injuring DSP Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz who later succumbed to his injuries.
