Downsizing of state ministers expected

President Asif Ali Zardari has called a meeting of all state ministers on Monday in the Federal Cabinet to consult the curtailment in number of state ministers, Dunya News reported on Saturday. According to sources, the government has decided to cut the number of ministries. It is being discussed in high-level meeting to cut down the number of federal ministries to 35-40. According to sources, in Mondays meeting, the president will take into confidence the state ministers on the matter.
