ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced the results of 259 National Assembly seats till Wednesday.

 

According to the announced official results, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won 124 seats in National Assembly, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) 31 while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) bagged 27 seats.

 

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) managed to claim 18, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) 10, Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) 3 and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) won four NA seats.

 

Parties that won two seats include Muslim League-Q only.

 

Awami National Party (ANP) Qaumi Watan Party, Awami Jamhoori Ittehad, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Awami Muslim League, Balochistan National Party, National Peoples Party and Muslim League-Zia managed to win one seat each in the National Assembly.

 

Independent candidates remained successful from 28 constituencies.
