10 terrorists killed in Swat, 15 bunkers destroyed in Jandola sector

Ten terrorists were killed while 14 others including two would-be suicide bombers were apprehended by the security forces in Swat during operation Rah-e-Rast and destroyed 15 bunkers of terrorists in Jandola sector in Operation Rah-e-Nijaat. According to ISPR on Thursday, the security forces apprehended 2 would-be suicide bombers including a woman from Nawe Kalle village. Security forces killed 10 terrorists at Sigram during search operation while apprehended 12 suspects at Langar, Ahingro Derai, Qambar and Udigram.The operation Rah-e-Nijaat in South Waziristan is continuing where the security forces have been carrying out search and clearance operations besides sensitization of various areas under the control of terrorists. The security forces during search operation discovered 22 inter-linked tunnels being used by the terrorists in Garezai Algad area in Shakai sector of South Waziristan. Each of the tunnels, discovered by the security forces was around six to seven feet in length. In Jandola sector, the security forces conducted search operation at Tsapparai and destroyed 15 terrorists bunkers. In Razmak sector security forces cleared large number of compounds at Kot Band Khel, Iman Khel Zingai and defused 9 IEDs. Security forces also conducted search and clearance operations at Lawara Punga, Wucha Dara, Badam Shah, Zarnai Killi, Pasal Kot, Shahudin, Dwa Khula, Talakai, Khajai and Qalandar and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions. As result of rockets fired by terrorists at Blanki Sar, one soldier was injured.
