Summary The ANP leaders have been receiving threats from terrorists, claims Haji Adeel.
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - Awami National Party's vice president Haji Adeel said the party would go for polls despite party leaders being attacked by terrorists.
He deplored a militant attack on Haji Ghulam Bilour on Tuesday evening‚ which killed 11 people. He said it was unfortunate that other political parties keep mum when ANP politicians are being attacked.
Haji Adeel alleged that level playing field was not being provided to ANP and urged the interim government to provide fool-proof security to ANP leaders and candidates.
Haji Adeel claimed that ANP leaders had been receiving threats from terrorists and it was very difficult for them to run election campaign. He said ANP is targeted because of its categorical stance against militancy in the province.
"We are being targeted because our government moved against militants and wiped them out of Malakand Division‚" he said.
