Musharraf treason case: SC seeks reply from federation

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) has expressed displeasure over the absence of federation’s representative during the hearing of treason case against former army chief general Pervez Musharraf on Monday.

 

A two-member bench, headed by Justice Jawad S Khawaja heard the case today.

 

During the course of proceedings, the court summoned the federation’s reply from law secretary at 11:30AM today.

 

During the last hearing, Pervez Musharraf had requested the Supreme Court to constitute a full bench to hear the treason case against him.

 

 

Musharraf had made the request in his reply submitted to the apex court in the case calling for proceedings against him under Article 6 of the Constitution.
