Summary Election Tribunal will hear appeals against acceptance of nomination papers of Imran, Sharifs today.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A tribunal comprising Justice Imtiaz and Justice Khalid Mehmood had to hear the appeals but the Election Commission changed the tribunal and now the new tribunal comprising Justice Nasir Saeed Shaikh and Justice Shahid Wahid would hear the appeals against the acceptance of nomination papers of PTI chief Imran Khan and PML-N’s leaders Sharif brothers.
The tribunal will hear the appeals today. Sohail Malik, opponent of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif in constituency NA-120, had filed an appeal against acceptance of his nomination papers while appeal against former Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif had been filed by his opponent Rana Sajjad Afzal in constituency PP-161.
Meanwhile, an appeal against PTI’s chief Imran Khan had been filed by his opponent Junaid Murtaza in the constituency NA-122.
