Case filed against manhandlers of Dunya News team

A case has been filed against lawyers who tortured Dunya News team. A delegation of representatives of Pakistan Union of Journalists and Lahore Press Club is going to meet Chief Justice on Thursday. Earlier today, lawyers in Lahore attacked once again on media. Dunya News team which went to Lahore Sessions Court for media coverage was held hostage by the lawyers who snatched mobile phones and camera from the journalists. Dunya News reporter Muhammad Ishfaq and cameraman Irfan Rashid were performing professional duties when Lahore Bar Vice President M R Awans junior Rana Sakeel advocate tortured them and claimed that medias entrance in Sessions Court was banned. Lawyers slapped the Dunya News team and snatched their mobile phones. Rana Shakeel and companions locked the reporter and cameraman in a room. Meanwhile, Lahore Bar Secretary reached there and released the cameraman and reporter.
