The Federal Cabinet has approved the decision to sell sugar at the utility stores at Rs 38 per kg but decision on two holidays a week was not taken this time, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani chaired the meeting of Federal Cabinet. According to sources, it is decided in the meeting that next month, 0.1 million ton sugar to be sold at utility stores at Rs 38 per kg. Cabinet approved technical collaboration with Jordan and Oman while defence cooperation with Australia. Gas load management plan was also approved in the meeting. Recommendations of Austerity Committee were also reviewed in the meeting. According to sources, decision about two holidays has not been taken in the meeting. A committee was constituted to address the complaints about purchase of paddy crop.
