The Election Commission on Sunday announced the official results of elections of 21 constituencies of Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly.According to the result announced through notification issued by Chief Election Commissioner Rahim Nawaz Khan Durrani, Independent candidate Syed Razi Uddin Razi won LA-1 Gilgit 1, Independent candidate Deedar Ali won LA-2 Gilgit 2, PPPs Muhammad Ali Akhtar won LA-4 Gilgit 4, PML-Qs Mirza Hussain won LA-5 Gilgit 5, PPPs Wazir Baig won LA-6 Gilgit 6, Syed Mehdi Shah of Pakistan Peoples Party won LA-7 Skardu 1, PPPs Nisar Hussain won LA-8 Skardu 2, PPPs Wazir Shakil Ahmed emerged victorious on LA-9 Skardu 3, PPPs Wazir Hassan won from LA-10 Skardu 4, PPPs Muhammad Ali Shah Rizvi won LA-11 Skardu 5 and Muttahida Qaumi Movements Raja Azam Khan declared winner on LA-12 Skardu 6. Independent candidate Abdul Hameed Khan won in LA-13 Astore 1, PPPs Muhammad Naseer Khan won LA-14 Astore 2, PML-Qs Bashir Ahmad won LA-15 Diamir 1, PML-Ns Janbaz Khan won LA-16 Diamir 2 and JUI-Fs Gulbar Khan declared winner on LA-18 Diamir 4.PPPs Dr. Ali Madad Sher won LA-20 Ghazar 2, Independent candidate Muhammad Ayub Shah won LA-21 Ghazar 3, PPPs Muhammad Jaffer won LA-22 Ghanche 1, PML-Ns Mufti Muhammad Abdullah won LA-23 Ghanche 2 and PPPs Muhammad Ismail Engineer emerged victorious in LA-24 Ghanche 3.According to the notification, results of LA-17 Diamir 3 and one of the Gilgit constituencies have been withheld. Whereas polling could not be held in LA-19 as MQM candidate expired before the elections.
