7,000 PIA flights delayed in last 5 months
Loss of PIA has crossed Rs 150 billion due to the VIP movement and staff negligence.
ISLAMABAD: Seven thousand flights of PIA were delayed during last five months due to VIPs and negligence of the staff.
According to documents acquired by Roznama Dunya, VIPs have been the main reason behind the delays in domestic and international flights of Pakistan International Airlines during the last five months.
Three thousand out of seven thousand PIA flights had to be delayed due to the mismanagement by higher authorities of PIA and negligence of the staff.
The documents with details of PIA loss would be submitted to a special committee of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
