LAHORE: Young Doctors Association (YDA) Punjab on Wednesday continued the hunger strike on the third day leaving about a dozen of protesting doctors in deteriorated condition, Dunya News reported.

 

The young doctors had set up hunger strike camp in front of Services Hospital in Lahore.

 

A large number of young doctors are still present in the camp. YDA representatives have vowed to continue the hunger strike until their all demands are met.

 

The doctors chanting slogans against the government for not fulfilling their demands of free treatment services for the patients in hospitals, implementation of service structure, and release of their colleagues arrested in Gujranwala incident and end to victimisation by withdrawal of terminations, suspensions and transfers of young doctors.
